At Myte Group Inc., we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning data collection, use, storage, and security. This policy applies to all Myte Group products, including Myte Social and Myte Cody, and complies with GDPR, PIPEDA, and other relevant data protection laws.

1. Personal Data Collection
1.1 Data Collection Practices

Myte Social: We do not collect or store user data beyond the information necessary for subscription validation (e.g., name and email). All other data generated by Myte Social, including friend lists and communications, remains local on the user’s device and is never transferred to Myte Group servers.
Myte Cody: Myte Cody securely stores user-provided data in a de-anonymized format on MongoDB, enabling users to manage business analysis and proposal generation. Users retain full control over their data, with options to delete specific data or their entire account at any time.
1.2 Data Usage

Data accessed or generated within Myte Social and Myte Cody is used solely for the intended purpose of each product (e.g., organizing contacts or creating proposals). No data is used to train Myte Group’s models or to improve AI systems beyond the individual user’s experience.
1.3 Data Storage and Retention

Local Storage (Myte Social): Myte Social retains no data beyond local device storage for user privacy.
Cloud Storage (Myte Cody): User data on MongoDB remains fully accessible to users for editing and deletion. Upon account deletion, all associated data is removed from our servers.

2. GDPR and PIPEDA Compliance
We comply fully with GDPR and PIPEDA, offering transparency and user control over personal data within Myte Group products.

2.1 User Rights under GDPR
Since Myte Group products do not process personal data externally, several GDPR rights (e.g., right to access, rectification, erasure) are inherently protected:

Myte Social: No personal data processing outside the user’s local device.
Myte Cody: Full user control over stored data, including the ability to edit or delete it at any time.
2.2 User Rights under PIPEDA
We uphold the principles of PIPEDA in the following ways:

Accountability: Myte Group is responsible for the privacy practices within our products, ensuring data remains private and secure.
Limiting Collection: Only the necessary information for subscription validation is collected (e.g., email).
Consent: Use of Myte Social or Myte Cody implies user consent for data stored solely within the scope of each product.
